About Terrane Ltd

Terrane Ltd was founded by Jane and Terry Rumble in September 1987 as Terrane Promotions, the name, an amalgamation of Terry and Jane. Jane was a company accountant and Terry was serving in the Royal Air Force. Together they believed that the UK's Armed Forces were not well served with the likes of Embroidered Badges and other memorabilia.Thus Terrane was born, initially supplying local Military Units in Cambridgeshire with Embroidered Badges, Stickers, Coffee Mugs Etc. Word soon spread, and it wasn’t long before Terrane was supplying most of the UK’s Armed Forces with their products. The business moved to Lincolnshire in 1986 when Terry was posted to RAF Waddington, flying E-3D AWACS aircraft.

In 1994, Terrane purchased Wendos Ltd, one of the Countries best known Screen-printers of garments and Europe’s leading manufacturers of personalised Ceramic Coffee Mugs. This purchase enabled Terrane Promotions to supply its’ customers with a much more varied selection of products. Further purchases of Squadron Prints Sales and the established Embroidery and Custom Clothing Company ‘Stitches of Louth’ have seen Terrane expand into Europe’s leading Embroidery and Screen Printing Manufacturers, still specializing in supplying Military Units and Forces with their needs.

In 2004, Terrane became a limited company and continues to thrive. It is still owned and managed by Jane and Terry from a purpose-built modern factory in Lincoln, employing the latest Screen-printing equipment as well as state-of-the-art computer software for embroidery design and manufacture. Modern equipment and a well-motivated work force ensure the highest quality of standards and workmanship are met to satisfy the Armed Forces of the World, as well as our regular customers.

From their first day of trading, Jane and Terry made it their policy to supply their customers with top quality products, at both a fair and competitive prices. These values still hold firm today, and Jane and Terry are immensely proud to be associated with the Men and Women of our Armed Forces. Their motto of ‘supplying the best, with the best!…the very best!’ is a term they proudly boast, as the Official Suppliers to such prestigious customers as The Royal Air Force Red Arrows Aerobatic Team. Other customers include The Blue Eagles Army Air Corps Display Team, The Army Historic Flight, British Aerospace, the RAF Museum Hendon and many others including Schools, Clubs Businesses and Associations.
